Si è conclusa anche la 12h di Sebring, seconda gara dell’IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup. Essendo il sistema di punteggio complicato, andiamo a rivederlo insieme.
5 punti vengono assegnati al vincitore della gara, 4 al secondo, 3 al terzo e 2 a tutti gli altri. Ma a Sebring, ad esempio, questi punti vengono assegnati anche a 4 e 8 ore dal via. Quindi, chi allo scoccare delle 4 ore si trova in vetta, si prende 5 punti!
GTP
Nella classe regina Porsche mantiene la leadership in entrambe le classifiche. Come dopo Daytona, a seguire troviamo Acura. Si aggiunge alla classifica il team Aston Martin, debuttante a Sebring.

GTD Pro
In classe GTD Pro non cambia la leadership che rimane alla #1 di Paul Miller. A seguire abbiamo la vettura gemella, la #48. A chiudere la Top3 poi la #77 di AO Racing.
Nella classifica costruttori BMW riesce a tenere la prima posizione. Seguono Porsche e Chevrolet.

In GTD il team Inception Racing sale in prima posizione anche non avendo vinto la gara. Grazie a loro Ferrari comanda anche la classifica costruttori davanti a Porsche e Chevrolet. Nella classifica team, anche Wright Motorsports guadagna una posizione e sale seconda. Il team AWA, primo dopo Daytona, scende in terza.
